Social Work Summer Day Camp

The Social Work Summer Day Camp is a wonderful opportunity for all students seeking to better understand the profession of social work and those who may be also interested in a dual degree or minor in the fields of Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Sociology, Anthropology, Women & Gender Studies, African American Studies and Undecided Majors. Please note that the main focus of the camp is social work.

The Camp provides an up-close opportunity for students to learn about the exciting field of social work and the many types of settings the Bachelor of Social Work professionals can gain employment.

• Tour of local Social Work Agency of Interest
• Tour of Widener University Campus
• Interactions with current Social Work students & professors
• Explanation of field internships
• Group workshops with students
• Certificates of completion
