Drop and Go Program

What is Drop and Go and how does it work?

The Drop and Go program is an optional experience for all first-year students to get a head start on moving into the residence halls. This program complements Widener’s formal move-in days on August 19 and August 20. Only bulk items, large, packed boxes, and cumbersome items can be dropped off. Students will not officially move into their residence hall until August 19 or August 20.

Deadline to register is Monday, August 5.

Here’s how Drop and Go works:

    • Reserve a drop off date and one-hour timeslot.
    • Students will have one hour for drop off. In that hour you will check-in, drive to your designated parking area, and transport your belongings to your room.
    • Our team of volunteers will be on-site with large moving bins to assist you throughout the process.
    • Rooms will be opened by Residence Life staff upon your arrival. Room keys will not be distributed. Rooms will be locked by Residence Life staff immediately as you leave.
    • All participants must depart campus at the end of their one-hour window to make room for the next group of students and families dropping off their items.

Find more information about the program on our website.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
